Our home is located one and a half hours by car from Cancun International Airport (CUN) and three hours by car from the significantly smaller Chetumal International Airport (CTM). Upon request, we can arrange private, safe and reliable transportation booked by our Guest Experience team and billed as a room charge. Please contact us for further assistance with transportation.

Weather

Over the course of the year, the temperature in Tulum varies from 17°C to 33°C and is rarely below 12°C or above 35°C. There are three seasons to keep in mind when planning a visit to our home in Tulum: hot, cool and rainy. 

Hot Season

The hot season occurs between the months of April and June, with an average daily high temperature at or above 32°C. May is considered Tulum’s hottest month of the year, with an average high of 33°C and a low of 21°C.

Cool Season

The cooler season occurs between the months of November and February, with an average daily high temperature of 29°C. January is considered Tulum’s coolest month of the year, with an average low of 17°C and a high of 28°C.

Rainy Season

From June to November, the region experiences majority of its rainfall for the year, bringing vibrant life and colors only seen during this season. Rain can be heavy and sporadic but is often short-lived. The tropical rain showers offer a sense of calm and peace in the mornings or afternoons, .reminding us to adapt and embrace nature in all of its forms.

We like to embark on a journey feeling prepared. While visiting our home in Tulum, we suggest bringing the following items to ensure the utmost comfort during your time with us, taking into special consideration our wellness and adventure programming:

– Flip flops or sandals
– Water bottle (non-plastic)
– Reef safe sunscreen
