About her Work

Tatiana Camacho is a Colombian multi disciplinary artist (portrait photography and abstract painting with ancestral textile art techniques and materials being her two main practices) . With a background in photography and fashion her work draws from personal internal processes as well as collective current affairs through both an abstract and a figurative lens. It is through the exploration and elaboration of distinct seemingly opposing mediums that that Tatiana generates and sustains inner balance, mental and creative stimulation as much as self and collective awareness. The common thread in all of Tatiana’s work is the evolution of human consciousness, the human relationship to the natural world, our ongoing study of it and our role in its current state.
